Shipping and Returns

Shipping

All of our items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or equivalent service, with tracking. If you want insurance on your order, please contact [email protected] with your order number and let us know. An additional charge (usually $5-$10) will apply.

Orders are shipped as soon as product preparation and packaging has been completed. In some cases, this will be 2-4 weeks after you place your order, although your credit card will be charged immediately. If this poses a problem for you, please do not place an order.

Once your order is packed and a shipping label is prepared, you will receive a tracking number at the email address you provided when you placed your order. Please note: it may take 24-72 hours before that tracking number shows up in the shipping provider’s systems (ex. USPS.com). In those cases, please be patient.

Most orders to the continental United States (lower 48 states) will be received within 3 days, often faster. Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, US Virgin Islands and other US Territories may take longer. Shipments to APO/FPO address may take 3-6 weeks to arrive.

We are presently testing shipping to a number of countries outside the US. If you are in the United Kingdom, Germany, or the United Arab Emirates, you may place an order and specify a shipping address in those countries. BUT PLEASE NOTE:

  • International Shipping is not free. Additional charges will be applied at checkout, and they can be substantial.
  • YOU will be responsible for payment of an VAT, import duties or customs fees upon delivery of the product.
  • YOU are responsible for picking up the product if your destination country holds the product for clearance at customs.
  • If your country’s customs service refuses to allow a shipment to pass through, the product will be returned to us or destroyed. If it is returned to us, you will be refunded the amount you paid minus your original shipping costs.

If you suspect your order was damaged in shipment (it’s rare, but it happens), do not accept it from the delivery person. Simply refuse delivery and have them return it to us, then send an email to [email protected]. As soon as we’re able to verify that it’s on its way back to us, we’ll send you out a replacement.

 

Returns
We want you to love fatCoffee®! If you’ve tried it and don’t, please be aware that there are some limits to what we can permit with respect to returns, and there are conditions on when/where/how we can issue a refund.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If you return less than the full number of servings of fatCoffee® than you originally ordered, you will be issued a pro-rated refund less a $10 restocking fee.

If you are located outside the United States, you are responsible for the full cost of shipping the product back to us. We will refund your full purchase price minus your original shipping cost.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and send your item to: 22 N 3rd St Philadelphia PA USA 19106.

 

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

 

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
